Venus de Milo

Milos is famous for being the original location of the Venus de Milo statue but it is also known as “The Island of Colors.” Milos has much beauty to offer its guests. The island is a volcanic island full of brightly colored geological formations. In the months of September and October the sea also takes on many colors, from azure to emerald to violet, coupled with the beautiful sunsets, Milos cannot be beat for its beauty and charm.

In addition to the beaches and the sea, Milos also offers some great tourist attractions like the beautiful geysers on the eastern edge of the island and the numerous hotsprings and spas that dot the island. There are also many museums to visit and the ancient catacombs are also an interesting way to spend the day. Milos has only been recently discovered by tourists but as you can see, there is much to offer.
