Who Is Jim Martin

Hi, my name is Jim Martin and I live in Moscow, Idaho with my wife, Mary Ellen, and my two sons, Jake and Max. I am finishing up a Bachelors degree in Interactive Media Design at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (Online).

Professional Web Design and Development

In addition to my above duties, I am a Freelance Web Designer / Developer. I am experienced with Flash and Actionscript development, as well as Web design with PHP/MySQL, ASP.net with C#, HTML, CSS, and Web standards. I am also familiar with Wordpress theme creation and customization and the Codeigniter PHP framework. I have a strong proficiency in PC and Mac software including the Coda Web Development Editor, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Visual Studio, and several email and messaging packages. I develop on both Mac and PC platforms using secure local servers so you can be assured of both privacy and accuracy for all of your web development needs.

While completing my Bachelors degree in Interactive Media Design (with a 3.99 GPA), I have displayed a proven understanding of online usability and that I am self-motivated and versatile. Much of my coursework required the ability to handle multiple fast-paced, high volume projects at once. This accomplishment has also proven my ability to set, follow up on and meet goals and objectives for my self and, when appropriate, project teams.
